During October 2022, plastic filming trials took place at the BioComposites Centre (Bangor University). Partners from Wells Plastics and the Bangor University participated on the trials.
The HiBarFilm Q3 meeting was hosted by the partner Fre-Energy at their facilities in Wrexham, on the 14th December 2022. The meeting was held as hybrid, attended by representatives of all partners and the Project Monitor and Innovate Lead (InnovateUK), Participants who attended in person had the opportunity to visit the plant.
HiBarFilm was represented at the Welsh Food Advisory Committee meeting held on the 20th October at Wrexham/hybrid, by the partner Bangor University. Dr Rob Elias, Director of BioComposites, gave a presentation with the title: Research on BioComposites for packaging.
The 2nd quarter meeting of HiBarFilm2 took place on the 27 September 2022 and was hosted by the partner Wells Plastics Ltd, at their offices in Staffordshire.
